The use of  winebookshotels.com is governed by these Terms and Conditions, in association with any specific terms stipulated on the individual pages of the websites in question. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website. 

Reception

Check-in: from 3 pm

Check-out: until 12 pm

Early check-in and late check-out later are subject to availability and may incur in extra charges.

Check-in

Check-in will be carried out exclusively with the reservation holder, who must have in his possession the passport and/or identification document of all guests on the reservation.

In compliance with Portuguese law, upon check-in, it is mandatory to present an official identification document (passport, citizen card/identity card) of all occupants of the accommodation (adults, children, and babies). In the absence of such document, check-in cannot be carried out.  However, the cancellation policy will still be applicable.

Online Payments

All credit and debit card transactions are charged at the point of purchase. Please note that your credit card will be charged directly at the time of transaction. Payment can be made via our secure checkout pages using your credit or debit card. Your card will be charged when you make your reservation and receive confirmation.

Booking Conditions & Payments

A reservation guarantee payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card (Visa or Mastercard, with 3D Secure active), or using a secure link from REDUNIQ provided by the Reservations department.

If you have made an advance payment by Credit Card to guarantee the reservation, it is strictly necessary to present this card by the holder at check-in. If you do not present this card at check-in, you must make a new payment of this amount (credit/debit card or in cash), canceling the amount previously debited.

If you wish to add the TIN/NIPC to the invoice resulting from the advance payment, you must inform it at the time of booking.

Reservation with Non-Refundable Rate

Security Deposit

Full payment will be requested at time of booking.

Cancellations, no-show, and early departure

In case of cancellation, no-show on the check-in date or early departure, the payment made will not be refunded. It is not possible to change the booking dates.

Flexible Rate Booking

Security Deposit
A 50% payment will be requested upon booking. The remaining amount must be paid at check-in, directly at the Reception.

Cancellations | Low/mid-season stays

• Cancellations received up to 3 days before the date of arrival will be free of charge and the deposit will be refunded;
• Cancellations received within 2 days or less of the arrival date will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount.

Cancellations | high season stays

• Cancellations received up to 7 days before the date of arrival will be free of charge and the deposit will be refunded;
• Cancellations received within 6 days or less of the arrival date will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount.

Cancellation on the day of check-in, no-show, and early departure

In case of no-show on the scheduled day of arrival or early departure, the Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel reserves the right to charge 100% of the total amount of the stay.

Children Policy

Children up to 2 years stay free of charge. Children between 3 and 11 years old pay 50% of the adult stay. Children over the age of 12 are considered adults.

The maximum capacity of Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms is 2 people, and it is not possible to accommodate additional guests, including children.

For family reservations of up to 4 people we suggest the interconnecting rooms (subject to availability). You can contact the Reservations team or the Reception for further details.

The maximum capacity of the Suite is 3 people, with the possibility of placing a cot or extra bed, at an additional cost.

Cleaning Services

The cleaning service is carried out daily, as well as the replacement of towels and bed linen.

Meals

Tasca da Memória Restaurant opening hours:

• Breakfast: 7:30 to 10:30
• Lunch: 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
• Dinner: Sunday to Thursday: 7:00 pm to 10 pm | Friday and Saturday: 7 pm to 10:30 pm
• Bar: 10:30 am to 1 am

Our rates include a breakfast buffet which will be served at the Tasca da Memória Restaurant. The Tasca da Memória Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, as well: table reservation is advised. Allergies or dietary restrictions must be communicated at the time of booking (additional charges may apply).

For Safety and Food Hygiene reasons, the Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel does not store any type of food or drink from outside the hotel.

SPA

SPA opening hours:
Every day, from 10:00 am to 08:00 pm

All SPA services and treatments are subject to prior appointment. Please contact the Reception for more details.

Gym

Gym opening hours:
Every day, 24/7

The gym is available 24/7 and can be accessed with the room’s magnetic key. The gym is not supervised or monitored, so observing the gym rules is essential to ensure good use.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel.

One pet of up to 25 kg is allowed per room (only in Deluxe type). An additional cost of € 25.00 per night and a deposit of € 100.00 will be applied, and returned upon check-out, after a damage inspection. Pets are not allowed at the Tasca da Memória Restaurant. In public areas, they must be on a leash or on a carrier.

Pets should not remain alone in the room for periods longer than two hours, or after 9:00 pm. Guests with pets must place the “Pet in the Room” sign on the door. Room cleaning will be carried out at a time agreed with our team.

It is mandatory to inform, at the time of booking, that you will be accompanied by your pet, so that we can inform you about all the conditions applicable to this stay, as well as to receive the liability waiver that must be signed at check-in.

Parking

The Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel offers covered parking (subject to availability). An additional charge of € 20.00 for 24 hours applies, and € 15.00 at night (from 7:00 pm to 9:00 am).

Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is applied per guest and per night over the age of thirteen, staying in a tourist development or local accommodation establishment, up to a limit of 7 nights per stay. The amount is € 2.00 per person, per night.

Dress Code

There is a dress code in place in the public areas of the property, which will be checked and remembered.

Online Occupation/Reservations

If using the online booking system available on the respective website, the Terms and Conditions regarding availability, prices and cancellations apply to each price indicated, and the user should read all the details relating to the rate charged carefully before completing the booking process. Any special needs must be communicated at the time of booking; however, compliance is not guaranteed.

“Prices From”

Prices denominated as “Prices From” in the hotel presentation listings are considered as the lowest base price available per night, per person, for the respective unit until the end of the current calendar year. Therefore, there is no guarantee of availability of this price whenever a search is carried out in our reservation system (price varies depending on the search date). As these prices are already the lowest available, which may or may not include promotional campaigns, no additional discounts will apply.

General Considerations

The user is not permitted to assign, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any of his rights stipulated under these Terms and Conditions. If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions included in these Terms and Conditions, which will remain in full force and effect. The failure to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions, by a party, shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

Website Use

Users of the website implies must be of legal age (minimum age of 18) and able to enter binding contracts. The user will be financially responsible for any and all use of the website. The user may only use the website to make reservations or legitimate purchases and guarantees that all personal information provided during the booking and registration processes is correct. We reserve the right, at any time, and without prior notification, to prevent or limit the user’s access to all or part of the website.

Website Availability

The website may not be permanently accessible due to maintenance or repair operations, or due to computer problems or failures, internet service failures or other unforeseen circumstances. The site contains information about our products and services worldwide, not all of which will be available in all locations. A reference to a product or service displayed on the website does not imply that such product or service is, or will be, available in the user’s location. The content of the site, including advertising content, is intended to be used and displayed only where its use and display are permissible in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Registration

The user will immediately notify any necessary changes to the information provided upon registration. The Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel guarantees total confidentiality of personal data provided via secure server and under the law in force.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

The Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel reserves the right, at its discretion, to make any changes to any part of the site. As a result of its update policy, Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel may wish to amend these Terms and Conditions (including those related to the use of the contents). In the event of a change in the Terms and Conditions, the Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel will notify the user, indicating at the beginning of these Terms and Conditions the date of its last update. It is therefore important that, whenever the user accesses the site, he/she checks if there is any notification of changes to the Terms and Conditions. The use of the site after the publication or the notification of changes by the Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel implies acceptance of those changes. If the user does not agree to be subject to these changes, he/ she should not continue to use the site.

The Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel website may provide he information related to specific services, offers or promotions that it is carrying out. Such services, offers or promotions will be subject to specific terms, conditions and restrictions displayed on the website in association with those same services, offers and promotions.

The Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel may promote competitions, free prizes, and promotions on its website. These will be subject to additional terms and conditions which will be disclosed at the time such contests are held.

Court of Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with Portuguese law. Both parties agree, in the exclusive interest of Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel, to elect the Portuguese courts as the competent and exclusive forum, to judge and decide any lawsuits, actions or legal measures that may arise or result from this contract; unless it has been agreed upon that in this clause of election of a competent legal court in the exclusive interest of Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel reserves the right to  press legal actions against the user in courts of competent jurisdiction in any other country.
